Construction Summit Madrid 2019

Spanish and Portuguese contractors with global footprint meet with Swedish technology and Swedish financing

Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in Madrid, along with our partners EKN, The Swedish Export Credit Agency, and SEK, The Swedish Export Credit Corporation, welcomes you to join Construction Summit Madrid 2019.

Spain is home market to some of the world's largest international contractors and has seven companies ranked on ENR's global top 50 list. Spanish contractors have 14% of the international market share with an international revenue of 59 bUSD and approximately 75% of the contractors' turnover derives from international projects. The sector's success abroad can partly be explained by its distinct abilities in engineering, innovation, process integration, value chain activities and management of large and highly complex projects.

Swedish companies offer innovative and high quality solutions for the construction sector whereas the Swedish financing solutions to Spanish and Portuguese contractors will support the procurement of Swedish technologies globally.

The focus areas of the Construction Summit are:

  • Global footprint of Spanish and Portuguese contractors
  • Innovative and high quality solutions by Swedish companies for the construction sector
  • Swedish technology & financing solutions for projects in and outside of Spain and Portugal

Targeted participants are among others representatives from:

  • Spanish and Portuguese contractors with global portfolio
  • Swedish technology, product and solution providers
  • Public stakeholders from Spain, Portugal and Sweden
