Innovation Day, on December 5, 2022, will highlight the vision of the world’s largest archipelagic country to become one of the world’s top five economies by 2045. To achieve this, the Indonesian government is running several programs to increase international competitiveness and continued growth of its manufacturing industries.

The Industry 4.0 program is focusing on the digitalization of Indonesian industries and another program is the establishment of several Special Economic Zones throughout the country. These zones are expected to foster equal economic growth with the support of foreign direct investments, access to global markets and regulatory and financial incentives.

Team Sweden is already supporting these developments through activities that showcase the added value of Swedish high-quality and innovative technological solutions. In combination with attractive export credit solutions, Sweden can help drive this development and support Indonesian EPCs in the realization of the government’s plans.

To this end, the Innovation Day aims to explore how Sweden can support these themes even further and to identify specific areas of collaboration and partnerships. Building on the success of previous SISP conferences, the in-person event offers an abundance of opportunities for networking and creating platforms for new collaborations between Swedish technology providers and high-level Indonesian stakeholders.
